How much do you know about conveyor belts? For a time, we’re familiar with them as machines that help carry our luggage in the airport or bring our plates of sushi to us when we go to a local Japanese restaurant. But apart from that, conveyor belts actually have a lot of other applications and it is quite readily present in the surroundings more than you think it may be. If you don’t already know, the working principle of a conveyor belt is also used in escalators, moving check-out counters (at the supermarket), and for transporting equipment from one location to the next (like at a factory).
