The E2S range of audible and visual signals for hazardous locations offer intrinsically safe, flame proof and non-sparking devices providing solutions for both combustible gas and dust atmospheres. Multiple approvals and accreditations including, amongst others, ATEX, IECEx, FM, GOST-R, ANZEx and INMETRO ensure global acceptance and compliance .Audible signals include alarm horns for fire, process control and general signalling and loudspeakers for PAGA and mass notification systems. Visual signals include powerful Xenon strobes and multi-function L.E.D beacons for status indication.Hazardous areas are defined as areas where concentrations of flammable gases, vapours or dusts may occur, either constantly (Zones 0 and 20), under normal operating conditions (Zones 1 and 21) or unusually (Zones 2 and 22). A whole series of additional conditions relating to the temperature classification and the auto-ignition temperatures of the type of gas or dust to be found ensure that any equipment will not initiate an explosion or fire.

Fire and Industrial Signalling – Audible and visual signals for fire & industrial applications range from panel mount indicators through to heavy duty devices designed to withstand the harshest of environments. Approvals such as GOST-R, VdS, GL, UL and cULs enable E2S products to be globally specified and many sounders and beacons are CPR compliant, EN54-3 & EN54-23 tested, for fire alarm applications. Voice & tone notifications are possible with the Appello sounders.
Wide Area Signalling – E2S wide area products provide solutions for public and mass notification for a range of applications including tsunami warning alert siren, disaster warning siren, evacuation warning siren as well as for many other emergency warning requirements around the world. E2S can provide advice and site surveys to assist with system specifications. The advanced system options include battery back-up and radio control options.
