The MICRO300 Precision Regulator, specially configured by CAC Gas & Instrumentation for highly sensitive applications, is designed for customers who need the most accurate calibrations.
The MICRO300 features fully supported ‘sensitive’ pistons and a low internal volume to reduce wasted gas and minimise reactions. The regulator is available with or without SilcoNert® 2000 coating.
SilcoNert® is a non-reactive silicon coating process that makes flow paths inert for better process control, consistent sampling, and analytical results. The patented chemical vapor deposition process bonds the coating to stainless steel; alloy; ceramic; and glass, making a high-tolerance, durable coating even under extreme temperatures and pressures.
SilcoNert® is made by SilcoTek Coatings, “the world’s leading provider of high-performance inert coatings applied by chemical vapor deposition (CVD).”
The MICRO300 Precision Regulator includes:
- An AISI 316/316L stainless steel body, bonnet, piston and main pin, compatible with nearly all calibration gases.
- The low internal volume of the regulator (less than 3cc) reduces surface area and volume while still safely controlling up to 300BAR inlet pressures.
- A special range of low-volume cylinder connectors with reduced length and a 0.5mm bore, reducing volume by a factor of 100, and surface area by a factor of 10 when compared to standard cylinder valve connectors.
- A range of special coatings from SilcoTek® Coatings
To accompany this regulator, a range of 1/8” and 1/16” stainless steel tubing and associated fittings are offered, also available with special coatings.
